Wakefield Depot Tour & Practical Guidance on Controlled Drugs (Wed 25th June 2025)

We are delighted to be hosting our first ever study day at our Wakefield Depot!

Many of you will be serviced from this site and we want to invite you along to see it. Alongside an hour's training from Caroline Pond on Controlled Drugs, we will also be conducting an extensive tour of the facility. This will allow an opportunity to see the operations at Wakefield and understand the journey of your medicine. There will also be members of the PSUK and operations team on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Please note, you can book either the morning or afternoon session... but these are the same agenda's repeated back to back, so you only need to book one! Places are limited for this event, and we anticipate that they will fill up fast, so book your place today to avoid missing out!

Numbers will be capped to 30 delegates in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. On arrival, you will be split in to two groups of 15, with one group starting with Caroline and the other starting with the depot tour... you will then swap after an hour.

10:00 - Arrival refreshments

10:30 - Delegates split in to Group 1 and Group 2

10:30 - Group 1 = Controlled Drugs with Caroline / Group 2 = Wakefield Depot Tour

11:30 - Group 1 = Wakefield Depot Tour / Group 2 = Controlled Drugs with Caroline

12:30 - Lunch and depart for AM delegates

12:30 - Arrival lunch & refreshments

13:15 - Delegates split in to Group 1 and Group 2

13:15 - Group 1 = Controlled Drugs with Caroline / Group 2 = Wakefield Depot Tour

14:15 - Group 1 = Wakefield Depot Tour / Group 2 = Controlled Drugs with Caroline

15:15 - Summary and close

15:30 - Depart
